GENERAL FEATURES OF THE INSTALLATION

The photovoltaic system is connected to Enel’s public medium-voltage (MV) distribution grid and is composed of the following elements:

  • Photovoltaic field

  • String combiner boxes

  • Power conversion and control units (inverters)

  • Low/medium-voltage step-up transformer

  • Medium-voltage (MV) protection, control, and interface devices

  • Power supply for auxiliary systems

  • Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units for auxiliary services and electrical substation protection

  • Conductors for connecting the various components of the system, grounding, and the connection to Enel’s public MV grid

PANEL SPECIFICATIONS

The photovoltaic plant is connected to Enel’s public medium-voltage (MV) distribution grid and is composed of the following elements:

Monocrystalline panel, model Rensola 240P, with a nominal power output of 240 W. Each module is equipped with bypass diodes that automatically exclude any section of the module containing one or more defective or shaded cells.

The panels are mounted in 207 parallel strings, arranged on fixed structures of the “Radiante” model, each consisting of 20 photovoltaic modules connected in series.

The modules will be installed on fixed structures called "Radiante20," manufactured by ECOWARE S.p.A. These structures are made entirely of galvanized steel sheet components.

For the optimal layout of the radiant structures on the ground, the manufacturer has defined the following formula as the most suitable:
dih × sin(β) × tan(23.5° – latitude) + cos(β).

MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LAND

The terrain is flat and does not present significant morphological issues, such as snow accumulation, fog, hail, or strong winds.
